Sue Edwards coaches Construction & Engineering Leaders, ranging from middle managers and senior executives in multi-national corporations to business owners of mid-sized organizations. 

She has received the prestigious 2009 PRISM Award from the International Coach Federation- GTA Chapter for her work with a Canadian infrastructure & road building company.  This award recognizes excellence and enhanced business performance through commitment to coaching as a leadership strategy.  This company was also named as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies.  With her guidance they became one of Canada's Best Managed Companies in 2010 and have achieved the Platinum level. 

 

Professional Expertise

 

Sue has developed an international reputation for her work with Construction leaders.  She conducted a year-long program to develop Coaching skills for the top 60 managers of a California-based Construction Management Company (Vanir Construction).   She has coached 28 high-potential Directors and Project Managers in a large heavy civil construction company headquartered in Cheshire, Connecticut (Lane Construction) in four year-long programs- 2015-2018. She has coached individual leaders at PCL Constructors, Dufferin Construction and Capital Paving Inc.  Sue also has extensive experience coaching engineers in natural resources and manufacturing companies.

 

Sue is certified in the use of various well-regarded assessment instruments, including MBTI, DISC, TEIQue (Emotional Intelligence), High Potential Trait Indicator (HPTI), Profile XT and Benchmarks® 360 degree feedback.  She has expertise in coaching executive leadership teams using a systems coaching approach and has specialized training in neuroscience and linkages to coaching.

 

Sue has extensive business experience in senior human resources positions with multinational corporations including: Imperial Oil, Bayer and Campbell Soup.
